Rolling Hills Elementary School is a new 70,000 square foot facility for K-6th grade students. It features twenty-five classrooms, a multi-purpose room (gymnasium) with adjacent platform (stage), serving kitchen, library and art room.
Interior lighting consists of fluorescent “indirect” fixtures in classrooms, with the library and art room utilizing “direct/indirect” fixtures. Metal halide fixtures were used in the multi-purpose room.
Exterior lighting consists of building and pole mounted high pressure sodium fixtures with flag and exterior signage utilizing in-ground metal halide fixtures.
In addition to power and lighting systems, the design included an on-site generator, state-of-the-art lighting controls, fire alarm, school PA/clock system and multi-purpose room sound system.
